Nexenergie is a set of Python 3.13 services. Production runs on Google Cloud: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Eventarc, Cloud Scheduler, and Workflows.

platform-api

Auth, tenancy, dashboard, client API, and webhooks. Owns the Postgres schema.

Collectors and workers

Cloud Run jobs write prices, weather, forecasts, and metrics into Postgres and GCS.

Source of truth

  • Schema: Alembic migrations in platform-api
  • Auth and tenancy: platform-api only
  • Forecast numbers: written by price-forecast-worker, read by the API and metric worker

Runtime conventions

Environment variables use the NEXENERGIE_ prefix.
Success is 0. Missing data or hard failures are 2 so Eventarc and monitoring can alert.
Backend timestamps are UTC.
The API does not fetch OMIE or Open-Meteo on request. If a forecast is missing, the pipeline has not completed for that market yet.
